  Last summer my A.C. stopped working. I called them to come see what was wrong. Horrible idea the technician spent 2 hrs try to figure out what was wrong. I follwed him every step of the way and finally at the end he says he thinks it's a leak in the A coil but he never got a sure reading on his air tester. I was there asking the whole time what the air tester would sound like once it found a leak and it never went off. He was not confident in his final diagnosis. But pope joy was confident in sending me a almost 200 dollar bill for the service which left me with a broke A.C. and without a sure answer on what the problem was. And then a estimate of 900 to 1100 dollars to replace A coil. And also a very high qoute on a new unit and install. This wad only my 2nd time using Pope Joy and both time left me feeling cheated. First time was a simple clogged drain which he poured some cleaner and stuck a hose in it and fixed it. Yes it was fixed but I got billed for 1.5 hrs of work when the guy was there for 30 to 45 min tops. The bill was 180 bucks for 30 min and a bottle of chemical.
